DBS Chola Small Cap Fund launched
Mumbai,Nov22:
DBS Chola Mutual Fund announced the launch of its three year close ended fund, DBS Chola Small Cap Fund. The fund will invest at least 65% of its net assets in stocks of small companies. The fund is benchmarked to the BSE small cap index.
The new scheme will opened on 20 th November and will close on 20 th December, 2007. The scheme offers both cumulative and dividend options.
The minimum application amount is Rs.5000 and multiples of Rs.1 there­after.
The fund seeks to generate long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity re­lated instruments of companies with small market capitalization.
R. Rajagopal, Chief Investment Officer, while addressing the media in Mumbai said that we believe substantial exists in small cap mar­kets, and using our extensive research capabilities, we can offer potentially superior returns with acceptable level of risk.
