LAUNCHES SMALL CAP FUND
mumbai: DBS Chola mutual fund today announced the launch of its close-ended scheme, DBS Chola small cap fund.
The fund will invest at least 65 per cent of its net assets in stocks of small companies, a top DBS Chola official said.
"We believe substantial opportunities exist in small cap market. Using our extensive research, we can offer potentially superior returns with acceptable level of risks," DBS Chola mutual fund's Chief Investment Officer R. Ra-jagopal said.
Small cap companies are those companies whose market capitalisation falls between the highest and the lowest constituents of the BSE Small cap index.
The fund will open for subscription on November 20 and will close on December 20, he said. pti
