on an expansion spree

Brovis Wireless Networks (BroVis), a global manufacturer of next-generation
Broadband Wireless Infrastructure systems and solutions, is on an aggressive
expansion spree in India and in the South East Asian region.
Announcing
the expansion plan, Muthu Logan,
Founder
CEO, Brovis said, "We will be sig-
nificantly
increasing our head count in days
to come. We have also expanded our presence in Banga- lore, and
have recently opened our sales
and marketing offices in Mumbai and Delhi. Brovis, already a
significant player in the Indian sub continent has over 500 deployments
across the globe."

The
company has received $3million venture
capital funding from US-based Parakletos@Ventures.
Head of Parakletos, Dr Paul
said, "Fresh investments pouring in would strengthen
our activities and enable us to invest in
acquiring necessary resources. Value addition through
R&D is indispensable and we
would continue to excel in the
same." The new product line includes enhanced version
as well as new product like
wireless dynamic mesh routers and Wi-Max based solutions.
New offerings are in line
with BroVis' vision to. develop
cost-effective wireless
solutions. It has around 20 formidable 'channel partners
world-wide. As part of this
global expansion initiative, BroVis
has signed a comprehensive strategic
partnership with Iconbase, a leading provider
of telecom and wireless products. It will distribute
and support BroVis products in 10 SE Asian
countries including Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia,
Philippines and Thailand. BroVis will
establish its second production unit, the first
being in Chennai.
